Oh, and if you allow me to clear up some confusion... a dungeon and a donjon are two totally different things.
A donjon (English, Dutch, German and French word) or keep (English) is the (often central, strongest and most important) tower where the castle inhabitants take shelter when the rest of the castle has been taken by the enemy.
And well, you know what a dungeon is
